I'm going home for the weekend. What does that mean when you are an adult, when you have a home of your own? I have many homes. I have homes in Michigan, a home in Tennessee, a home in Scotland, a home in the woods, a home on the beach, an apartment home in Boston, a new home in Chicago, and homes I am still yet to find. I hope that this home, this blog, can connect my many homes together and allow me to be a little closer to the many homes I miss.

Working

My parathyroids got up to a respectable number: 12.  That's the smallest value in the normal range...it goes from 12-88...but I'll take it!

This is good news on the cusp of my scan and Tg test tomorrow morning.  One has nothing to do with the other, but still it is very nice to see progress and to be told I can start to try reducing some medications.  I also ran yesterday and today--it was nice to be in nature even while I was away from others.

burgeoning forward
breath, pounding, aches, mindful thoughts
finding strength to run

I had a chai latte right after and then a deep dish pizza with my friend Grace. Then cheese fondue the next day...oh how I love cheese!
